Greetings from Chicago.
Someone asked me if I was heading to Lollapalooza this weekend.
Been there, done that.
Back in 1993, when the festival was held at the World Music Theatre in Tinley Park, I watched Alice in Chains and Rage Against the Machine.
Nope, just here for work.
Over the past couple of weeks, I've been highlighting VOLT and JOLT, the algorithm-driven betting models developed by VSiN's Jason Latus.
Yesterday I received this email from subscriber Mark.
Only thing I do differently with VOLT is if there are only two plays I parlay them and play them individually.
Haven't lost in two weeks!"

(Records for last 30 days)
Emails like Mark's are why we continue investing in tools that help bettors make smarter decisions. VOLT and JOLT aren't meant to replace your handicapping—they're designed to uncover opportunities you may have missed.
- VOLT identifies value on MLB Totals.
- JOLT identifies value on MLB player props.
- Models combine historical matchup data with recent performance trends.
- Every recommendation must show at least a 5% projected edge versus DraftKings before it is posted.
- Maximum of five plays are released each day.

Like many of you, I watched PGA Tour newcomer Jackson Koivun hold off Scottie Scheffler for his first victory as a professional on Sunday—at 28-1.
Naturally, I wondered whether anyone on VSiN's Long Shots podcast would come right back and bet on Koivun at this week's Rocket Classic in Detroit.
Nope.
— Kelley Bydlon
Koivun opened around +2600 and has already been bet down to +2300, while Cameron Young enters as the tournament favorite at +950.
Instead, Wes Reynolds is backing another Jackson—Jackson Suber at 82-1.
I did find one vote of confidence for Koivun. On the VSiN Pro golf picks page, VSiN By The Books host Dave Ross has 0.2 units on the rising star.
Will today mark Tarik Skubal's final start in a Tigers uniform?
With Monday's MLB trade deadline approaching, one of baseball's biggest storylines takes center stage this afternoon when Detroit hosts Baltimore. Whether Skubal is moved or not, Greg Peterson believes the best bet isn't a side—it's the Total.
Skubal owns a 2.70 ERA with nearly an 8.5-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio, while Detroit's bullpen ranks fifth in ERA since June 1. Baltimore's relief corps has actually been even better, posting the second-best bullpen ERA in baseball over that same span.
Greg projects the game at 7.3 runs and recommends playing Under 8.
