Two months earlier, playing golf four days a week, 6'1", 108 pounds, and then boom, you get this and you're dead. And, but he had a home hospice, so he wanted to die in his house. So I was there for two weeks.

Very tough to be in any one place that maybe you're not familiar with, and, uh, it just reminded me of, like, being in, like, um, I have some friends in Raleigh, North Carolina.

They had college accounts and st- and stuff, and, um, that this was, DraftKings nurtured the addiction, encouraging to spiral out of control. And this is not to pick on DraftKings. This could be any sportsbook.

uh, the husband, uh, uh, secretly drained credit cards, children's savings accounts which had been funded by gifts received, Christmas, birthdays, baptisms, according to the lawsuit.

So in the undisclosed settlement, I am just absolutely shocked that they won anything because New Jersey courts previously have ruled that betting operators don't have a duty or any responsibility towards problem gamblers.

And of course that would be the rule, because if not, everyone would be suing they lost, you know? Um, this actually shocks me, and the reason why this court ruled for this is because of VIP staff failure. So- Aha...

judges, uh, the judge contended that, that DraftKings VIP host should have recognized that this was a problem gambler with a family, given the frequent interactions with him and the casino host back and forth.
