LSU listed starting quarterback Sam Levitt as doubtful for the matchup this weekend against Ole Miss. Obviously the, uh, the return of, uh, Lane Kiffin to Oxford.

Now, the exact nature of Levitt's injury was u- was unclear. He completed last week's win over Louisiana Tech, spoke to reporters afterwards without appearing to be in pain.

Lane Kiffin didn't mention that Levitt was, uh, dealing with any injuries during a Monday news conference. So this comes out, LSU drops to a one and a half point favorite.

I would think a lot of people would owe Lane Kiffin a pretty big apology at that point. Oh, sure. Like, "Uh, hey man, we're s- [laughs] we're kinda sorry we, we immediately doubted everything you said."

But it is Lane Kiffin. It is gamesmanship. There, there is something called gamesmanship.

By the way, to sh- all sh- be pointed out, the conference's reporting policy states acts of gamesmanship intended to hide a student athlete's true participation status, that's a true participation status for competitive or strategic reasons, are prohibited as is conduct that could reasonably construed as, quote, "misleading."

And then of course they could, uh, take sanctions. Penalties for inaccurate or late reports range from 25,000 to $100,000 for football and can include accountability measures per SEC, uh, Commissioner Greg Sankey.

He's got full discretion to administer penalties and appropriate, um, levies based on the circumstances. What, what's, uh, what's 25K these days?

Obviously, we have 10 games roughly left in the Major B, l, Major League Baseball season. Some teams have nine left. I believe only the Rays have 11 left, 'cause they have a double header against the Yankees.

Um, Yankees themselves have 10 game, 10 games left. So roughly 10 games, give or take a game or two, but that's the, uh, that's the average left in the season.

And we wanted to go through some of the tiebreakers in case you were thinking of betting make misses on divisions, uh, as well. We'll break it down just real quick, division by division.

AL East, the Rays now have a four-and-a-half game lead over the Yankees. [laughs] Wow. Remember, they have a four-game set next week. We are flirting with that four-game set barely mattering at this point.

Um, if the Rays are able to stay above the four games, obviously they could even withstand a, a, a sweep.

They obviously don't wanna get in that position, because then of course they'd have to, uh, get it home in the final series of the season. But you get the idea.

Rays not only have the lead, they have the tiebreaker over the Yankees for the AL East lead. They've won that season ser- or they, th- they currently have the lead, I should say. It's 6-3.

Of course, if they got swept, that's the only way they'd lose the tiebreaker to the Yankees. So that four-game set is obviously very important.

But one of those, r- remember, there's a double header, too, and those are usually splits. So it, that even reduces the chance of the Yankees getting a sweep next week.

But anyway, as, as you should know it, for, for tiebreaker purposes, for the purpose of this conversation, Rays lead that season series 6-3.

Only way the Yankees can wrest that tiebreaker from the Rays is to sweep next week.

Um, as far as wild card teams, wild, potential wild card teams in the AL East, the Blue Jays, they win the tiebreaker over the Guardians if it happens to be a tiebreaking, uh, a, a wild card tie with the Guardians.

Now, Guardians beat the White Sox yesterday, so currently the Guardians are first place in the AL Central.

So just so you know, if, if they fell back into a wild card situation, it was with the Blue Jays, the Blue Jays actually win that tiebreaker.

Right now the Blue Jays are one and a half games behind the White Sox for the third and final AL wild card position. Blue Jays lose the tiebreaker to the Rangers and the White Sox.

Rangers and Astros now tied for the lead in the AL West. Um, tied with the Astros, the Orioles tiebreaker yet to be determined, although they have a 6-4 lead over the Orioles. The Blue Jays do with three games left.

As far as the Orioles are concerned, the Orioles are two and a half behind the White Sox. Kelly, I know this is riveting, uh, tiebreaker radio here, but you gotta know these things for your bets. Yeah.

Uh, Orioles two and a half games behind the White Sox for the third, uh, American League wild card position currently, as of this moment.

The Birds would win their tiebreaker with both the Astros and White Sox if they're in a tie for that last wild card position. They would lose the tiebreaker with the Rangers and Guardians. Just know that.

Uh, tiebreaker with the Blue Jays, as we just mentioned, still to be determined. They are two games back, but they have a three-game set with the Blue Jays still to come.

Uh, as for them, them- Ju- just great that they, you c- you could be two and a half out of the wild card and you're fifth in your div- division... Guardians win a tiebreaker with the O's, as we mentioned.

They lose a tiebreaker with the Astros, Blue Jays, Rangers, or White Sox. That is if they fell back into the wild card position. Um, don't have to worry about that Red Sox note.

White Sox currently on the outside, are behind the Guardians in the American League Central race. They would win a tiebreaker with the Blue Jays, Guardians, and Rangers. Lose a tiebreaker with the Orioles and Astros.

Don't have to worry about the Red Sox there. And then as far as the AL West teams are concerned, Astros and Rangers, they are tied. They are both 500 now. The Rangers have won four in a row.

The Astros do win the tiebreaker with the Rangers for the AL West crown. If they're in a wild card tie, they again would beat the Guardians and White Sox in the tiebreaker.

They'd lose to the Mariners, Orioles, and Twins. You don't have to worry about the Mariners in there [laughs] at all. Uh, and then the, from the Rangers' perspective, again, they'd lose the tiebreaker to the Astros.

They would also lose wild card, uh, a wild card tiebreaker to the White Sox. They'd win tiebreakers for the wild card over the Blue Jays, Guardians, and Orioles.

It's intra-division records- Yeah... and they don't even play the same divi- in the same division.

I know this is not the most exciting thing in the world, but again, you do need just to be thorough with all your baseball bets. You do need to know this.

So the NL tiebreakers, the Braves four-and-a-half game lead over the Phillies. If that were to be a thing, they do win the tiebreaker as well over the Phillies. In terms of seeding, they would win a tiebreaker.

The Braves would over the Dodgers. Um, right now they would be tied with the Brewers-Cubs NL Central winner in terms of seeding.

So just keep that in mind with stuff when you're thinking, "Hey, do I wanna make a Braves future?

Well, I should probably know that they win all these tiebreakers," so that's a good thing with the, with the Dodgers and Phillies anyway.

Uh, Phillies themselves, they would win tiebreakers with The Padres, in terms of a wild card position, they would lose tiebreakers, uh, to the Braves in the division, but Cubs and Dodgers when it would come to seeding or in the terms of Cubs, in the terms of the, uh, wild card with the Cubs.

NL Central, uh, Milwaukee rolling obviously with the, uh, with the NL Central itself, but in terms of seeding, once again, they win the tiebreaker with the Dodgers.

Um, they're tied with the Braves, if it came to that, with seeding. Cubs, they, in terms of the wild card, win tiebreakers with the Diamondbacks, Padres, and Phillies. They don't lose a tiebreaker to anybody.

In fact, the Cubs in terms of tiebreakers, wild card tiebreakers, are the best positioned of anybody. And then the NL West, by the way, tied with the Braves, it should be noted. That's the one exception to all the wins.

The NL West, Dodgers obviously, uh, winning the West. Um, they would win a tiebreaker in seeding with the Phillies. They would lose tiebreakers in seeding to the Braves, Brewers, or Cubs.

Again, all they care about is one or two. Padres, three-and-a-half game lead over Arizona. We can take these last two together. That's the big thing here.

The final series of the season is a three-game set, Diamondbacks at Padres at Petco. But right now, the Padres just cruising, three and a half ahead.

In terms of, uh, other stuff, they'd lose tiebreakers to the Cardinals, Cubs, uh, and, uh, F- and Phillies. You don't have to worry about the Dodgers there.

And then the Diamondbacks, again, three and a half behind San Diego. They win tiebreakers with the Cardinals. They would lose a tiebreaker with the Cubs. Um, do we have the, uh... Do we have the, the Padres-Diamondbacks?

Oh, yeah, they're tied. That's the big thing. Padres and Diamondbacks themselves tied 5-5 heading into that three-game set at the end of the season.

So it's kinda what you anticipate about the Bills, right? Where it was always, we said this all last year, which is like, "Hey, we know Josh Allen's great, doesn't really have a lot of help on offense.

Um, and the defense, I don't know what to think of it." But this year, with DJ Moore, right, and, uh, Dalton Kincaid looking completely healthy- Mm-hmm... man, that looked good in the first week.

And then the Lions, same deal, right? You expect the offense to be good, and then Tyler Shuck went ballistic on them- Yeah... last week. This is definitely some injuries worth noting here, mainly on the Detroit side.

This is what... This blows my mind every year in the NFL. We get to, like, week two, and it's, like, legit cluster injuries that the Lions are already dealing with.

I expected Florida to be much higher than minus 135, so it scared me a little bit how short of favorites they are, but I jumped on that one. It's actually my biggest play of this week in college football.

But you look at Florida through the first two weeks, they are number one in the country in net EPA per play. Uh, we are seeing Auburn now at outside the top 100, number 108.

The only real advantage I can give Auburn in this game is the fact that they already played a game against, you know, some legitimate competition in beating Baylor earlier in the year.

But I do think Florida is just going to be overwhelming for them in terms of talent on defense and what they have on offense.

I think that their quarterback, Aaron Philo, is actually better than Byron Brown, and I feel like Byron Brown is the one that is viewed as the more talented between the two.

I know the Raiders just won like by d- two touchdowns against the Dolphins, but I think very, very lowly of Miami.

So I think it's going to be a bounce-back performance from the Chargers, and we'll kinda feel stupid for, you know, ripping on them all week. But that's just the way it goes in the NFL, especially week two.
