The numbers told the story, they always do. He's one of those idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Gil Alexander on VSIN.
0:09
Hour number two of the numbers game right here at VSIN eSports betting network, vsin.com, Game Plus, that's Game Plus, iHeartRadio, YouTube TV, however you're taking us in, we appreciate it.
0:18
On this 4th of July, 248 years old. Oh, we've had a good run. It's Gil Alexander. It's Kelly Bidlin. Ladies and gentlemen, unscripted with the crack man, Bill Krackomberger.
0:29
[upbeat music] Billy. Good morning. How are you doing? Happy Fourth of July. Place is falling apart, I hear.
0:47
What do you mean? Camera. Oh, there it is. Okay, good. Oh, there you go. Thanks. Thanks guys in the back. [laughs] Thought I, thought I owed them a free lunch again. How'd you like the ride in? It was so free today.
0:55
Unbelievable. Yeah. There's no one on the roads. Nobody on the roads. That just goes to show me- So nice... that, that really, uh, there's a lot of regular people.
1:03
You always think it's the roads are full of casino employees. Yeah. And, um, and I just said, "Wow, this is how many m- you know, m- municipal workers, regular nine to five people-" Yeah... "are on the roads."
1:12
I mean, there's, uh, cones to nowhere every day on 15 and, and, uh, today there was none.
1:18
I was just like, "Wow," there, um, there was no, there was no, I'm certain there was no traffic, and it just made me think that it's not just casino workers out there.
1:25
Kel- Kelly said it best off air, which is, "We don't mind coming into work on the 4th of July." Really don't. It's just that tomorrow's work too. Right. [laughs] That's the more annoying part. Today feels like a Friday.
1:36
[laughs] Yeah. Gotcha. Gotcha. That's why we, we would love to, you know, it's a long weekend for most people, but yeah. I often get surprised though by what Bill said, like, that is the...
1:43
I, I, I have to remind myself, uh, often that there are more nine to five workers in this city than- Of course... than you think. And you know, even- Yeah...
1:51
you know, I, I have to pinch myself to even think like that because when you watch these specials on Vegas on TV, people don't think there's an outside life. Right. They, when they find out that people live here- Yeah...
2:03
like, they, they literally- That's true... think they come from like California to work. I mean, they're like, "Wow, you live in Vegas? It's unbelievable. I would love to live in Vegas." Yeah, you'd last about 30 days.
2:12
[laughs] Like, you know, I mean, you know. What, what is Bill Krackomberger doing 4th of July? Do you care about fireworks? N- not only do I not care, I actually don't like them at all. Yeah.
2:22
Because I, I'm an animal person. I don't like- Ah... the animals, um- They don't like it... they don't like it. So I, I put that, I put a video up on Twitter about, um, a family, 'cause out here it's different.
2:32
The, the fireworks are legal and they put like a boot outside with, you know, f- for fireworks and then blew up the entire house almost. I mean, it's just, uh...
2:40
So I put that video up a couple weeks ago and, uh, I retweeted it. But yeah, no, I, I don't, um, it's not really just like another day to me, but it's a good day for, uh, the hot dog eating contest normally.
2:51
Do you- I, I enjoy that, watching it normally. Do you bet it? I used to always bet it. DraftKings always had odds on, on, you know- They still do... the sports books always had good odds and- Yeah...
3:01
and, um, believe it or not, it was actually a mathematical edge, believe it or not. Um, never lost on that, um, but didn't bet it this year, but never have, have I lost betting that. Why didn't you bet it this year?
3:10
I don't know, there was just none. My, my guys didn't come up with any, um- Yeah, this is show- Maybe 'cause of the chestnut maybe. Maybe 'cause he's not out, they didn't wanna risk it. Yeah. Yeah. I'm kind of mad.
3:19
I'm kind of mad at them. I mean, big deal. Who, who... I mean- Yeah... doesn't matter who- Should be more opportunity. Yeah. It's just stupid. So I'm boycotting the contest- [laughs]... and I'm boycotting Nathan's.
3:30
I will not be eating Nathan's hot dogs. Taking it out on Nathan's? I'm gonna be going to the veggie dog. What's he do? What's he, what's he sponsoring? Some kind of veggie dog or something?
3:37
Yeah, that, that's what I think of that. That's the reason why he's not allowed to be in the contest. He, he now took that, uh, you know, a sponsorship from a, I think it's a vegan or a veggie dog.
3:48
Um, uh- Do you view these, do you view these guys and, and gals who eat these hot dogs, the speed eating contest with, with reverence? Do you, do you view it as this unbelievable athletic achievement or, or- No. No.
3:58
Okay. It's a gimmick. [laughs] I mean- It's a gimmick. Yeah. I agree. But some people think it's like this amazing... Some people are like, "Joey Chestnut's the greatest athlete there's ever been." Wow.
4:07
Some people say that. Oh, God. Yeah. You know, I was putting him up there with Bo Jackson and stuff, and I said- Yeah. [laughs]...
4:13
"You know, let me just put him-" Well, remember when ESPN did it and Kornheiser picked Secretariat over, like, humans, and people gave him all kinds of guff for it? Yeah.
4:21
So this is, this is the, uh, the hot dog eating equivalent of that. Oh, okay. What have you been up to? Have you been in town? Yes. And I have a, um, a...
4:29
I put up a, on my Twitter, I put up a, a, you know, the BetBash is coming in town, so I figured- Yes... I'd let the, all these guys know there's a good promotion the whole month of July and the whole month of August.
4:37
That's, and it resets every, um, every month. It's downtown here. It's at Four Queens and Binions.
4:44
I really think, I didn't go in Binions to check the game supply, but Four Queens has 100.17 return video poker play with basic strategy.
4:52
So in other words, theoretically long term, you should, let's say, break even at the game. And if not, you, you just Google the strategy and it's pretty, pretty simple, but, uh, pretty basic. Now they throw in,
5:04
you get, uh, if you get 300 points, 600 points or 1,200 points, you get different amounts of money and, and comp, which is at the restaurants there, which I used twice at Magnolia Cafe. I'd never been there.
5:15
I've been downstairs to, uh, Yugo's a couple times. Fantastic. But, um, y- so you, you get comps there, and the food was really good. I had like a prime rib there. It was great. So, um, but you, uh...
5:28
So this promotion is you get, if you get 1,200 points, you get $140 in cash back.
5:33
Doesn't sound like a lot, but you're already playing a positive game, so you're already, uh, uh, ahead theoretically long term, and now you're getting this $140 and a $60 in comp.
5:43
Now, I realize after I was done getting the 1,200 points on this game, I also got another $80 in cash back and about another $100 in food. So overall, this could be worth about 400 bucks if you're coming to town.
5:56
Now it generated an offer where I get free rooms, four fr- four nights of free rooms. Now you throw that into the mix, you're talking it's...
6:04
You know, rooms are very expensive in Vegas, so you're, um- Throwing that in the mix, it's a real good promotion and a real good thing at the, uh, Four Queens, and it resets every month.
6:13
I for- I figured I'd let everyone... By the way, you know, m- I, I guess not the best casino. Where I was playing the four games, there's only four, four of these machines.
6:20
You know, you have to watch the, the people around there. I had, I had an older lady, I couldn't believe an older lady came up to me. I thought she was, like, so sweet.
6:28
She would come to go, "I, I, I'm sorry, but can I, can I just get, like, 10 bucks?" You know? Whoa.
6:33
Like, I just didn't expect that, but I mean, I-- it wasn't, you know, it was an older lady, and she was dr- well-dressed even. I'm looking for cameras.
6:41
I'm like, "Well, this has gotta be a, this is no way she's asking me for this." But I watched her go around other, to other people. And you know what's funny about that? Security just doesn't care.
6:49
Now, I didn't go and tell security, but I've had situations in the past where I've told security things, and they want nothing to do with it. They, they want nothing to do with it at all.
6:58
But, you know, like, I, I- I, I imagine on those ones right on Fremont out here, too, that it's- It's every day... it's even, yeah. It's every day- Yeah... and it's probably even more so for those, uh, for the security.
7:08
So listen, I'm telling you the good and the bad. Let me tell you the real good. Lady comes up to me, another girl behind me. She's standing. She doesn't say nothing. She's standing behind me. N- well-dressed, and
7:19
she's standing behind me, and she, uh, she says, "Wow, that's a good-paying video poker machine." And I'm saying to myself, "Wow, this lady realizes it is." It's a, it's a 10-7 machine.
7:32
[laughs] I had to say, now I stop and say to her, "Miss, how do you know that?" She goes, "Because I play in Florida all the time." She says, "I'm here with my husband and kids. We're down at Hugo's.
7:41
Uh, you know, I came up for a second for a smoke, and, uh, I'm watching you play this machine." And I'm saying, "I know that. I play all over Florida." She was legit. Like, she was a very legit, nice lady.
7:50
She brought her husband up and to show me, to show the machine even, and when they were done eating. But- You're s- you're suggesting that this is m- in your profiling of this, this is more- No... of a male activity?
7:59
Well, it, it's, it's just rare to see a p- a, an advantage gambler female. Now, she doesn't- No... she wasn't an advantage gambler, but just for her to know- Yeah... about that machine showed me a lot. Here's the thing.
8:09
I hit four aces. When she walks right away, walks downstairs, hit four aces for 800 bucks. 15 minutes later, a single line, 40,000 to one royal. So Four Queens really likes me for this promotion.
8:20
They gave me the 400 bucks, and I won over five grand. So I'm like, "This, this lady came to me. In 10 minutes, I hit $4,800." So I'm nuts. I wanna go down and, like, pay for a meal or something, you know?
8:31
That, and, and- [laughs] No, 'cause I'm crazy. And then, uh, she's coming up with her husband, and, uh, and, and they wouldn't take no money. So I said, "Listen, I'm giving you a $100 bill for the tip."
8:39
And she goes, "Oh, no, we can't take that." And her sons were there. I said, "Well, I crumbled it up." I said, "Well, I'm leaving it on the floor," and crumbled the $100 bill up. She and her son picked it up.
8:47
But- I was gonna say, she just gave it to the kid. Yeah. [laughs] The kid picked it up. I was like, "Listen, I don't know what happened," and I, you know, I,
8:53
I, I know about the models, the algorithms, the, the math-based things, but there is that, I still believe in the, I still believe some people are luckier than others.
9:02
And I'm not trying to say I am, but I've been pretty lucky in life. What a, what a coincidence. And I, and I just gave her the hundred bucks. What a coincidence, Kelly. The kid was not a fan of litter. Yes.
9:10
[laughs] That's right, Kel. That's great. Yeah. [laughs] That's great. You're like, uh, you're like Michael Scott there- Yeah... Bill. You're not superstitious, but you're a little stitious.
9:17
No, I, I'm- You're a little stitious. [laughs] I, I am, I am definitely still, I'm still have that New York in me where I have the superstition and, you know, could be it. Uh, but let me- I'm, I'm like that too.
9:25
Any bi- like, almost, I would say 90% of my big hits on video poker has been from one bartend- when one bartender's working at the bar that I'm in. Yeah. And I'm like, "Yeah, Chris- Yeah...
9:33
I'm gonna need you here all the time." And you know what? Now that you say that, when you're playing at a bar for bartenders, you tend to tip more because you know that your, your local bartender- Yep...
9:43
you, you tend to tip them more than you would a slot attendant or something. Mm. So it's always a question of if they're friendly or they would, you know.
9:50
But let me just tell you something, going back to the luck factor. Oh, I was gonna ask you about this. Well- Yeah... Randy McKay. Yeah. [laughs] Have you just talked about, I wasn't planning to talk about this.
9:57
Put a quarter in and win a car. And Randy- Quarter in and win a car... Ra- Randy, I'm sorry if, if you're gonna be embarrassed by this or you're gonna be upset. So Randy walks into a Colorado casino the other day.
10:06
He says to me, "I walked in because it was a dollar progressive I was looking for," which it starts at 4,000. It was up to, like, 12,000.
10:13
And he said, "I, I, I found it, but I also found something I thought was even better." And after 15 minutes, a $5 progressive, he hits for $67,000. I mean- This dude... you gotta be lucky to hit that. It's a single line.
10:29
It's a 40,000 to one shot, just like I- Right... hit at the Four Queens. 25 bucks a hand. $25 a hand, 67,000. And he, he sends me- [laughs] Randy McKay... he sends me back a text.
10:37
He says, "And just goes to show you, also had the new lucky Masters hat on." Oh. So- The Masters hat that you gave him... I gave him [laughs] a Masters hat the last two years. So that's worth, like, 10%, right?
10:48
Well, I'd like to get one time. I, I gotta start letting, uh, Deborah Song, fashion stylist, wear mine now. There you go.
10:54
That, but don't you believe, though, about guys like Randy, that, like, you just have to believe that some people, he's, he's obviously super smart- Yes... but he's also lucky as could be.
11:02
Luck could be a skill set that we don't know about. I talked about it before on the show. We're all bundles of energy. We're all, you know, po- I love being positive, going in a casino, going in whatever kind of gaming.
11:14
I'm, I'm always thinking I'm gonna win. And if I lose, I don't really get upset or anything. So I think that it just may be more to it than people thinking. People, these MIT guys and mathematical guys, do me a favor.
11:25
Please, I don't wanna hear your comments. I'm just telling you that- [laughs]... I, I still have some of that feelings in me, and, and I, I've been very lucky with it. I'm sure the MIT tweets are gonna pour in now. Yeah.
11:36
Just a little stitious. Just a little stitious. Yeah. Little stitious. Not super stitious. Little stitious. Enjoy your life a little, guys, MIT guys. Get out and buy yourself a meal.
11:42
[upbeat music] More with the Crack Man, unscripted, Bill Krackenberger, @BillCrackMan. Wise Cracks, the name of his podcast, coming back. A numbers game on VSiN, the sports betting network.
12:00
Back on the numbers game. Skill Alexander, Kelly Bittling, unscripted with the Crack Man, Bill Krackenberger. Did she win? She already won? She looks like she won. Yeah. Looks like it was easy-peasy.
12:11
Uh- I'm looking for her to throw up Winner. Oh, no What is that? I can't read it. Did... Are, are we seeing this correctly? Yeah, or is it from last year? Oh, maybe that's last year. Here's the... Yeah, you were right.
12:23
Oh, I don't know. I don't know. Oh, you're right. That's- Oh, wow. Okay, I don't know. Here's the deal. What we're trying to, we're trying to figure out.
12:30
The hot dog eating competition does not air on regular network TV until 12:00 noon, 9:00 Eastern, but the ladies side is s- is streamed. And so I believe she won her 10th in a row. Is that correct? That the, the...
12:44
So I don't know if this is current or not. Um, but Miki Sudo going for her 10th in a row, so we're just trying to piece it together if this is live or [laughs] live or not. We don't know yet. Um,
12:54
so that's the deal with the televised part of this. They do not show the ladies. That's terrible. They start, they start at, uh, 12:00 noon, 9:00, 9:00, uh, Pacific. That was l- that was live. That was live.
13:07
That was live. 51. Okay, so on streaming she wins it with 51 hot dogs eaten. That's her personal... Uh, wow, 51, uh, she knocks down. Her personal- Total was 48 and a half...
13:17
her personal best prior to that was 48 and a half. So Miki Sudo wins her 10th, again, not in a row because she was pregnant one year. 2021 she did not have it, so yeah.
13:28
2024 Nathan's Famous women's champ, 51 hot dogs downed from Miki Sudo. And now her fiance, Nick Wehry, is gonna try to, uh, make it two for the household a little later on. No pressure. No pressure, Nick.
13:41
None whatsoever. Um, okay, we get tweets that beat in the book. Let me run through some of these. Thanks to, thanks to Storybot and Tony for, uh, live tweeting this, 'cause otherwise I don't think- [laughs]...
13:50
I would've figured that result out. [laughs] Yeah. She, and look, Mi- Miki looks very... She is emotional. 10 in a row. Even Joey Chestnut didn't win 10 in a row, Kelly.
13:59
That's why she's the third ranked in the world overall. Forget number one in women. He didn't win 10 in a row? I don't think he did, no. Wow. Uh, Sean Higgs, "Hey, Kelly and Gil.
14:07
I'm thinking for, uh, hot dogs only toppings are really Miracle Whip and shredded lettuce." Oh, God. Oh, God bless America. Jesus Christ. You know what, Sean? I think I saw you tweet this to- Oh, are you-...
14:17
to follow the money or something earlier. Ugh, what are you trying to do to us, man? So, so you're, you're, you're clearly just trying to grab attention with this. Oh, God. But Miracle Whip? Oh, Jesus. Miracle Whip?
14:25
What are you doing? Tripp Tepper. No. "Credit to Pagula and Navarro for earning their stripes on the court.
14:30
Their parents didn't hold their employer hostage [laughs] to fully orchestrate a four-year guaranteed contract for your kid." [laughs] Hey. The LeBron hate. Uh, JasonH11, "Gil and Kelly, what is your perfect hot dog?"
14:42
Uh, listen, I know I'm just gonna, gonna make a lot of people upset here, but I'm a, I'm a sauerkraut kind of guy. Oh, I, I- And I'm, and I'm not a mustard. I'm a ketchup kind of guy, which I know drives people crazy.
14:53
So you go sauerkraut and ketchup? I do. If I'm going to a ballpark watching the Giants, that's what I always gravitate towards. Ketchup and onions for me. That's it. Okay. Real basic. Billy?
15:02
Uh, I'm, I'm a sauerkraut and onion guy. There you go. No mustard, no, no ketchup, nothing like that. You gotta go, you gotta go with sauerkraut. Unless we're talking, like, chili cheese involved in this.
15:09
I like cheese, too. Yeah. I like cheese on a dog, too. You lost me. Larry Fresh, "Love how we can talk math for two hours on this show, but science gets two minutes tops. Salute from a math teacher." [laughs] Wow.
15:20
Science over our heads. We resemble that remark. Science. Oh, sci- Hey, Thomas Dolby. Thomas Dolby. Can I tell a Thomas Dolby story? Sure. I don't think I've ever told this on air. Wow, you're old enough for this?
15:30
Oh, dude. [laughs] So what, Bill just, Bill just shouted out science. Uh, in a previous life I was a, I was involved in a, uh, music and research and recommendation company in San Francisco called Music Buddha,
15:45
and one of the advisors to our company was the great Thomas Dolby. Unbelievable. Thomas Dolby- Wow... who, his big hit was Blinded Me With Science. Right. Uh, Thomas Dolby was also a very quiet British man- Wow...
15:59
who spoke very softly. And so when we'd have to go to Silicon Valley to have meetings with Thomas Dolby, which we only did a few times,
16:06
by the second or third time, we would, like, have to fight off falling asleep 'cause he talked so softly. Wow. And then he would do this extra thing where he would, "Do you mind if I dim the shades?"
16:16
So it would be really dark in there. Oh, no. So finally by the third time I was telling my buddies, I go, "I'll give any of you $200 cold cash if in the middle of the whole thing you just shout randomly, 'Science!'"
16:25
Right. Right. [laughs] No one ever took me up on it. Was he a one-hit- But the whole- Was he a one-hit wonder? Yeah, it was his big one. No.
16:30
But in the middle of it I would, like, look at him, try to egg him on, uh, egg on my guys- [laughs]... just to do something. "Science!" That was the MTV age. It was v- Yeah... big video. Yeah.
16:37
It was also, like, one of those things where, like, when Casey Kasem would do his, uh, America's Top 40 and they would fabricate long-distance dedications.
16:45
They would, like, make it up where, like, a w- a girl would say, or a guy would write in, "Dear Ca- Dear AT40, I was doing a science project when all of a sudden someone stunned me at the front door and my lab experiment blew up in, in my face.
16:59
Now I'm blinded. Could you play Thomas Dolby, She Blinded Me With Science?" Like, they would do that kind- Right... of stuff on there- Right... as well. [laughs] Okay, I d- I...
17:07
A correction, and this is great from three guys out here, because on the Triple Crown thing I totally, totally left something out, and they're right.
17:15
'Cause I, and I should know this, because I've been watching them all year with the Guardians. Stephen Kwan is hitting a, is hitting 360 for the Guardians, but he doesn't have enough ABs.
17:25
He doesn't have enough at-bats to qualify. So I think he just got there. So, uh, shout-out to Real Uniform Czar, who said, "I would worry about Stephen Kwan in the AL.
17:34
He's hitting 360, but doesn't have enough AB to qualify. He should have enough by the end of the season."
17:38
Bill Walsh, not that Bill Walsh, 'cause that would be weird, "Stephen Kwan finally became eligible in batting average, so he's now the AL leader at 360." Well, he's not quite eligible yet, but he's about to be.
17:47
Uh, and then Sports Observer, "Judge won't be able to catch Stephen Kwan. Kwan missed time and just qualified today." Oh, so maybe he did. According to some he did.
17:54
When I'm looking at the, uh, batting average stats, though, they're not listing Stephen Kwan, so I'm not sure if he's qualified. But he will, and so your point is taken on that. So thank you guys for that.
18:03
Um, Mike Stacks, "Happy Fourth to you and Kelly." Thank you. Thank you to you. And then Chance Copperpot, "With the crack, man, my favorite ANG segment.
18:09
Bill, you always give out a couple of year-long NFL player prop unders that cash. Do you have a couple to bless us with before the season is upon us? Happy Fourth of July. AK" Yes, I absolutely will have some.
18:18
Uh, I gave out a couple things here last week I think, but I absolutely will have, um, a couple things.
18:24
You know, just that it's so hard to get down these year-long player props because they're not, they're, they're offered... I don't know, may- do they might offer a couple things here now, maybe.
18:33
Uh, maybe the BetMGM app or the, the Caesars app, which I'm not allowed to play on. But, uh, you know, I, I have to, uh, go back to, uh, back east, DraftKings, FanDuel, and, uh...
18:43
But I will be making the trip there before- But maybe one or two actually, because if there's some futures to be had, I'll be going to the DraftKings over at Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun Vandal.
18:53
So we'll see what happens. Um, I have a story. If you're, if you're... Are you done? Yeah, I'm done. Okay. No, I have a story about something. So this guy on- It's your show, Bill. No, it's not.
19:02
[laughs] I, this guy on Twitter, Mark Checkwitz is his name. Yeah. I liked, he, he, he responded to something about the old school Mirage. He was there like opening day, and I said, "Wow, really cool."
19:12
And, and then I, I seen his bio, "I've gambled on the fringes of harm for many years." Oh, that's great. So I'd seen that in his bio, the gamble on the fringes of... So I text him, I, I DM'd him. Yeah.
19:22
And he said, "Oh, thank you for the follow, and I'm coming out for the World Series." And, uh, I said, "Well, listen, if you wanna come out, I'm gonna take you out, you and anyone out for a meal." Mm-hmm.
19:31
That's what I told him. Fantastic offer. I've never turned down... Okay, I'm leaning towards flying out to play in the Super Seniors event and, and hopefully spin that up into the $5,000 high roller seniors event.
19:41
Uh, so he was trying to, you know, get, get some, uh... And, and he also said, "I'll keep you posted on how close I am to the fringe of that event." So now he said, "Hey, Bill, I made it out for the seniors.
19:49
I'm gonna be in. Bill, how are you?" I said, "Oh, I hope you cashed in the seniors." I said, "Where are you staying? And I hope I didn't miss you, but I'm free tomorrow if you want."
19:56
He said, "I'm, uh, you know, I'm, I'm here at Park MGM. Yes, I cashed." So I said, "All right. Well, let me know if you wanna grab lunch." He said, he said... And I, I go to see him, and yeah. Oh yeah, he cashed.
20:07
Look at him. He won 600,000 on the tournament. [laughs] I cashed. Yeah, I cashed. $573,000. That's great. I cashed. [laughs] I, I, I, I mean, I, I couldn't believe it. I said, "Wait a minute, Mark, that's you?"
20:18
[laughs] I said, "I don't know if I'm buying anymore." [laughs] No, but I still bought him lunch, but so I took him out. I said- That's great... I said, "Now you- You still bought lunch.
20:25
[laughs] I still bought him lunch. Bill, Bill does not let anybody buy him anything. What does it matter? Yeah. Bob Arum, you know. Yeah. Worth half a billion, I had to pay. Yeah. Uh, so anyway, look, I, I- I had to pay.
20:34
[laughs] Yeah. I mean, I can't believe this. Now he, now we sit down, I hope I'm not gonna embarrass him. And- Did Bo- did Bob Arum short arm you? Is that what you're suggesting? Yeah. Yeah, a little bit.
20:44
Yeah, he wasn't going for nothing. I thought so. [clapping] Amazing. Yeah. These guys. [laughs] Uh, not the first, not, not the first, no, multi-bagger. I didn't think, I didn't think the Pagetos keep their money. Okay?
20:52
Come on. Yeah. So anyway, I just shout out to Mark. He, he wins all this money and h- he literally only had like less than 30% of himself.
21:01
He's like, "I gave eight different people pieces of me," you know, to get, including 1% to the doorman at the hotel. He said the guy was- Whoa. Yeah. He gave 1% to the doorman.
21:09
So he gave the guy 5,000 and something, 5,700 just for... He gave 1%. He liked the doorman and he said, "I'm gonna give you 1% of what I'm the..." I mean, what a great, great story. That's awesome.
21:18
Yeah, really c- [laughs] $573,876. Amazing. Amazing. Um, is, he's like 60-something. Where's he from? Been gambling all his life? Yes, he has.
21:30
And, and I, I apologize, he did tell me where he was from, um, but I, I, I just forget right now. Uh, but, um, he, he, he was- Good for him. Yeah... he was, he was...
21:40
Listen, I was so excited when I, when I was like, "Wow, you won the event?" I, I just couldn't believe this guy won the World Series of Poker. He won the main event. He's from Massachusetts, and, uh, I just checked.
21:51
But anyway, I just thought that was pretty cool. And- Yeah... he told me about, I'm not a bad beat story guy or nothing, but they're down to, they're five-handed.
21:58
He gets a pair of queens, this guy gets a pair of kings, this guy gets a pair of aces. You know the odds in that? Oh. Oh, sure. And he, he laid down the queens. Bam. Laid them down and just, he would've lost.
22:09
I mean, he would've been out. Yeah. He would've been out of the tournament. I just, there's so much luck involved in these tournaments, too. You got, you know that. Yes, there is skill up to a certain point.
22:17
Skill up to a point. But you have to have that, that, that busted A, as we said back home. Yeah. Yeah. I was just talking about that earlier this week as a matter of fact, in another context. Yeah. Yeah.
22:25
Skill will take you to a point, but it, it does need to break your way. I think we were talking about the Astros in June when we were talking about that.
22:30
We'll come back more unscripted with the Crag man, Bill Kragenberger. By the way, the name of his podcast again, Wise Cracks with John Orlando. Check that out as well.
22:38
Coming back on a Numbers Game at VSiN, the sports betting network. [upbeat music] A Numbers Game on VSiN, the sports betting network.

23:13
Don't sleep on the deep dive baseball. Check it out. We call it brand new? Eh, I don't want it brand new. We'll call it new. Yeah? Is that okay? New? Ish, yeah. Ish. Not superstitious. Ish.
23:25
Not superstitious, just stitious. [laughs] Ridiculous. A little stitious. Oh, we got tweets that beat me to the book. Sam Ginsburg, "Yes, some people are lucky. I'm a financial advisor.
23:35
A client was selling stocks on a Friday to buy a boat. He got a call and didn't call me back until after 4:00 PM, too late to trade. Company got bought over the weekend and stock was 40% higher on Monday." Unbelievable.
23:46
That's exactly right. Invictus, "I'm a big ketchup only guy on hot dogs, but also fine with cheese and bacon.
23:51
I don't do mayo, but I've seen carts outside the bars in Nashville and San Diego that put a little on the bun before toasting it. The lettuce is uncouth." Uncouth. Uncouth.
24:00
How often do you see bacon as a, as a topping offered for your hot dog? Never. Never. Yeah. That, that's- I mean, I'm sure it's great. Bacon's, you know, you could put that on anything and it'd be good.
24:11
Uncouth, lacking good manners, Kelly. Steve the Proxy, "Miki Sudo proving she's one of the best athletes [laughs] ever by bouncing back after pregnancy and hitting a personal hot dog record.
24:23
Even the great Serena Williams [laughs] couldn't come back from motherhood. 10 mustard belts, Gil, two times as many titles as Iga." [laughs] That's great. Love it. You got me thinking about this a little bit, okay?
24:35
I'm not, I'm not gonna take the pro-athlete side of this, but the- Oh... are you telling me the athletic drop-off from, like, football linebacker to golfer-
24:46
Is, is not, is not as big as the drop-off from golfer to hot dog eater? All right, well you've moved the goalposts on this by putting golfers in this. Well, okay, so do you consider golfers athletes?
24:57
I guess that's the question. That's what we... Yes. Are we, are we really gonna have this conversation? [laughs] Is that what we had? Welcome to Sports Talk Radio. [laughs] You're in my head now. What does athlete think?
25:08
Uh, I, I... Listen, do you c- I mean, do you consider a pitcher in, if you wanna get the b- Is a pitcher in baseball- Yeah. No, that's a good one too... a- A punter... an athlete? Punter.
25:19
Or are they, or do they have a great skill? I think it's all s- I, I would, I would lean more towards it's all great skill. This is, uh, the definition of athlete, Kelly.
25:30
A person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise. All right? Well, take, take out that last part and then [laughs] they're all athletes. So then pitchers are athletes. They're all proficient.
25:40
Go- golfers I guess are athletes too. I think so. And I don't know if eaters are. Okay. But some people say, "Yeah, it's physical." Eh, that's the end of that conversation. Hmm. I don't think it's... I, y- to your point.
25:53
I don't care enough to argue about it [laughs] really. Yeah. All right, I mean, if- I mean, we started JVT on it a couple weeks ago. He was ready to go off...
26:00
obviously, uh, the, the tweet was being sarcastic, but it's like are you telling me that, like, you would hold Miki Sudo in the same regard you would hold Willie Mays in? [laughs] Like, I mean, what are you- No.
26:09
[laughs] Pick any NBA player. Yeah. You have a story, sir. Oh, got a couple stories. Yeah. Uh, uh, first of all, I, I know this has happened to a, a lot of people. I wonder if it's happened to either one of you guys.
26:22
Do you ever go away with another couple, you ever go away with, like, friends that you, that you've had for a lifetime and you go away and now you come back hating them? Oh, I was gonna say usually it's a nightmare.
26:32
[laughs] No, it's like, you know, they, like, you have to be on their schedule for things. You have to w- It's terrible... It's very, very... It's, it's so hard to do. Not in the last 20, 25 years. Yeah.
26:40
No, that's- No... So, uh, uh, I, I just say it because, uh, uh, one buddy of mine was here with his wife and, uh, his kid, and he got two separate rooms there.
26:49
And then they came with their neighbors who they've had lived next door to for about eight years. He said it was a disaster.
26:55
They learnt more about each other and then they just, they, they, like, they went back, like, not even talking to each other. It was that bad. And I, I s- I could see it happening, though. You know, you have to be...
27:04
Some- one wants to go to a show, one wants to go to, you know- I just-... the dam, one wants to go to, you know, whatever, whatever tourist things you wanna go to, and the other one doesn't wanna go.
27:12
You know, it's, it's like remember Vegas vacations? Yeah, yeah. Let's have our own day. Right. Yes. And then they say, "We'll all do our own thing. I'll see you guys later." Yeah.
27:19
[laughs] Well, when, when you're on vacation- Right... you shouldn't have to make concessions to other people of what you're gonna do. It's your vacation. I knew you could properly word it.
27:27
I'm very passionate about this, actually. Yes. Yeah. It is- I've had very upsetting vacations with th- There-... with this stuff. Yeah.
27:32
The, the time in my life when I was subjected to these, and I do mean subjected to these...
27:38
And again, now get back to the fact that we, we all share, the three of us, and, and everybody listening, we share a certain DNA that most people don't share, right?
27:46
So the whole time you're subjected to these vacations... By the way, they're super nice people on their own, right? Yes.
27:51
If you went over to their house for a meal or th- three hours or went to a movie with them, fine, then you go home. But if you're on a, in a captive vacation somewhere. Right, yes. Right? Captive.
28:02
That's, that's [laughs] yes. Like, let's just say T- That's the key... let's just say any, like, Wimbledon is on today, right? Sure. I have bets. Sure. Hot dog eating, baseball, right? Perfect. Everything. Perfect.
28:11
The entire time while they're like, "Oh, let's go here, and let's go here"- Right... I'm like, "I'm check- I, I gotta check a score." Yeah. Like, that's all I'm thinking. Yeah. That's, that's just who I am. Yeah.
28:20
And so I hated them. Yeah. Hated them. Yeah, and that's, it's, it's- And it's, it's something I was willing to do when I was younger 'cause I had the capacity to compromise.
28:29
I no longer in my older age have the capacity to compromise. Yeah, I... Yes. Yeah, yeah. I think once you've done it a couple times- Yeah. Yeah, yeah... you just get burnt out, exhausted from it.
28:36
You'll never do it again. For those of you who couldn't, uh, see us, we're gonna put up the, that, uh, th- the picture, the photo I had of, uh... My friend was here for a little over five weeks.
28:47
He stayed at, like, nine different hotels. You could see there, um, on the counter all the stuff that he had. Bottles of water, bottles of soda, Perrier. He's like, "But" he's like, "You gotta take all this."
29:00
I was like, "Well, I, I, I, I can... Yeah, I'll, I'll take it. I'll give this away." I, 'cause I, 'cause I like giving away the shampoos and stuff to the homeless shelter. There's always a place in town.
29:07
I can't believe how much stuff he acquired. He had to, like, rob the maid carts. I mean, he had so much stuff. So now it made me think of something. This guy takes everything when he goes away. Everything.
29:18
He takes everything. So I remember, I forgot, I've known him for 30 years, almost 30 years. I remember in Atlantic City when we were younger, if he loses, he gets so mad- [laughs]...
29:30
he will actually, like, he, he'd, like, out of his backpack he pulled out a chisel. I was like, "What the... What are you..." He takes the art off the wall when you can't... Like, he'll take something off the wall. What?
29:40
[laughs] Just, "Oh, no. The, oh, this guy's nuts." [laughs] He, like, he goes, "As long as this- What?... if it doesn't leave a mark, it's going. They, the maids never see it."
29:47
I said, "You, how are you gonna get this piece of art out of here?" It was, like, nailed to the wall, right? What are you doing? Yeah. Hence the chisel. [laughs] This guy got... I'm not joking.
29:54
I'm not, I'm not saying it to be funny. This- He- He knows who he is. That's a skill. And- I, I will say this. It's one of those things- Classy... that's so out of bounds, right?
30:02
To, to carry a large piece of art out, that i- no one's g- like, there is a- No one's questioned it... no one would question. He's like, "How is this guy... This guy must have a reason.
30:10
He must be a worker that we've employed to move art." [laughs] Yo, that, that is one of those if you just walk with a confident look on your face- Yeah. That's right... nobody stops you. Oh, no. Nobody stops you.
30:18
If you, if you're as if, if you act as if in anything in life, you could just get away. You know what I mean? It's wild. Just, just, like, imagine Kelly. Like, I didn't know Kelly had a Van Gogh. Yeah. You know?
30:27
Just walking out of there. Just walking. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Doing my job. Um, you know, but I remember I said, "Well, listen." If this, if you can do this cleanly, uh, the, our old hangout, The Hard Rock- Oh, yeah...
30:38
has a great picture of... I'm a big Doors fan, The Doors hanging out at The Hard Rock in LA. It's on the wall there. If you could get that off for me.
30:45
We, uh, we- [laughs] I just want to disclaimer, we don't condone this behavior. No, we don't. Just telling the story. No, it just- Yeah... but I'm not joking, though.
30:51
He takes, he has taken, more than one time, has taken artwork off walls. He goes from, he, he gets mad, he just takes everything. I mean- Well, okay. So I need to dive into this thing real fast. The entitlement.
31:00
So this, so this is, we're talking most of these, I mean, most of these paintings and stuff are, like, nailed to the wall or something, right? So he's taking some tool- Yeah... and wedging it, wedging it off the nails.
31:11
Wedging it, yeah. Yeah, he, he knows what he's doing. But, but not enough to leave a mark is what you're saying. He can't, the whole thing is leaving the mark, because- Yeah... I know one time he got caught.
31:18
[laughs] He got caught. You think? Yeah. [laughs] There's just, like, marks on the wall from him digging in a tool.
31:24
But, no, think, how many times do the maids look up and, and look at the wall and say, you know, like, "So, yeah, he just likes something from them."
31:29
But, but The Hard- but The Hard Rock where we, you and I first met when we used to hang out, The Hard, The Hard Rock was filled with rock and roll memorabilia everywhere. And the rooms and the- Yes...
31:37
and not, not just the hallways and stuff. In the rooms, that's right. Like, like Planet Hollywood, too. There's al- always something, uh, memorabilia-wise in there.
31:43
So- And by m- and by, by memorabilia, you were equally, uh, liable to have a great piece of art on the wall or, like, find a syringe in between the couches. [laughs] So, like, it was just- That's, that's- It was 50/50.
31:54
Wow.
31:55
Uh, so there was that, but, uh, remember The Hard Rock got to the point where it was, like, in its later days, it, they, they didn't, they couldn't figure out what their brand was anymore, so during the week it was a hard r- you know, classic rock place, but on the weekends it just went straight hip hop at the end.
32:10
Right. So it was, like, this really weird- Ugh... [laughs] really weird thing happening. Now, speaking of which, Gil, I have to ask you. Yes, sir. Being in, in, uh, where you gr- where you grew up- Yes...
32:19
you used to drive to Atlantic City sometimes, right? Once in a- Oh, once in a blue, okay... once in a blue moon, yeah. Uh, 'cause that reminds me also, going home broke in the '80s. Oh, dude. The tolls. The worst.
32:28
Just hit, you hit the just, 'cause there was no cameras back then. You just hit the toll like you paid it, and it rings, and you wave, and you honk. Oh, no, you honk.
32:35
If the- We- Just honk the horn if the m- change hit the ground or something, so. I was at the age where me and my buddies- Yeah... we weren't smart enough to still have money at the end of the trip.
32:44
[laughs] And so we would drive. The gas. There'd be two- You know a car is running out of gas here. [laughs] Two people, two people in the back just passed out, two people in the front like, "Uh," Yeah...
32:51
"could you just get me a bacon, egg, and cheese?" Like, we'd stop at the McDonald's. I remember our buddy, Juan, was like, "Bacon, egg, and cheese." Right. And we'd, like, ask to see if we have enough money.
32:58
And the tolls, we would always do that. Tolls, never pay. That's what I mean. Ah, you'd act like you'd throw it, and you'd just keep driving. Th- th- there wa- Like, yay... you, you act like it, yeah. Yeah.
33:05
There, there was no gate or anything like that. Yeah.
33:08
Uh, but certain ones, I mean, the, the GW and the l- Holland Tunnel, but, uh, yeah, just something that I remember just- Those were always such back and- Coming home broke... those were all such depressing trips to AC.
33:18
On the way home, on, but on the way there, you're listening to Sinatra, Tony Bennett- Yeah... all the good life and everything. Yeah. Everything's great. Yeah, but- On the way home, it's... yeah.
33:25
Yeah, but if you strayed 20 s- 20 steps in the wrong direction outside of the place, too, it was like an adventure. Oh. [laughs] Oh, we'll talk about that when we get back.
33:32

34:40
Paul Medina, "Gil, you're a Bay Area guy. Haven't you had a Mexican hot dog after Sharks games wrapped in bacon?" Um, here's the thing.
34:48
Uh, I probably was in San Jose, Paul, um, less than I was in the Middle East in my time in the Bay Area. That's how little, that's how few times I would actually venture to San Jose from, from the city.
35:00
The city- Oh, I-... is what we call San Francisco... [laughs] I bet. Like, like- Yeah... like, I, I feel like that's one of those, if you l- like, grew up and lived around there, yes, you've probably been- Yeah...
35:08
everywhere around that area, but yeah, I- Just never got down to San Ho. If I moved to San Francisco, I can't imagine it. San Ho. San Ho. Tom Collins, "Another great appearance by the Crack Man. Trust the glove." My man.
35:20
Trust the glove. "Loss of capacity to compromise can also be attributed to years of experience dealing with humans. I laughed out loud at that line, LOL." Yeah, man, that's a good point, too. [laughs] Just, just living.
35:31
Chris Davis, "I do workers' comp. One guy's job history included casino maintenance, quote, 'What did that entail?' he said. 'Mostly fixing stuff angry people who lost would break.'" Oh, see? There you go. Wow.
35:43
Oh, yeah, the, I mean, it, b- back when we were at the South Point, I mean, I'm sure it's still the case, but the, i- in the basement there, it would just be lined with- Oh, it's-...
35:52
tables and chairs upon- That's true... hundreds- Really?... and hundreds just lined up down there. Wow. Yeah. Whether they're, whether they were broken or about to be replacing others- Right, yep... or whatever.
36:02
Like, it was, like, massive staging areas of footage.
36:04
That'll happen more at a locals casino than it will a tourist one on the strip, because that's more of a grind joint, and locals, they get upset, they're losing their checks.
36:12
W- where people come in town, and they don't really act like that all the time when they're- No... traveling. The, the VSiN, the VSiN office was in the basement, so Kelly, you're right about that.
36:19
But, now, keep in mind, the South Point also a place that no one would blink that, like, they'd have an archery convention, and people would be walking through there- It's unbelievable... with full bows and arrows.
36:29
They just had it. They just had it. Like, they could do all kinds of damage to other humans- It's unbelievable... and no one blinks. Unbelievable. That, not, not even that, Gil.
36:34
Like, when, when you're talking, like, 13-year-olds. Like, what's the worst age- Yes... that you'd want someone carrying a- Yeah... [laughs] carrying a weapon recklessly throwing around? It's unbelievable.
36:43
Yeah, and it occurs to me when I say bow and arrow, the image in most people's minds is like, "Oh, when I went to camp, I had a bow and arrow." No. No, no, no, these are- Professional archery... these are massive things.
36:52
Oh, forget it. Yeah. I saw, I'd just seen that. I couldn't b- it's funny you guys mention that.
36:55
Uh, one other tweet there, um, Buddhist, man We love Buddhists There's no better hot dog on earth than a New York City dirty water Sabrett with the extra onions and the orange sauce. Oh.
37:04
Do you know what the orange sauce is? I don't know what the orange sauce is, no. I know what it's like. I do not. He's absolutely right. I forgot about that orangey sauce.
37:11
I think Sabrett makes it now, it's in the stores, but you're, you're right about that.
37:15
I don't really trust a lot of those dirty water dog places, and even if they're clean water, but, uh, it's amazing all the ones on YouTube, there's reviews of the hot dog carts in New York City.
37:24
I'm sure you'll find one, but he's right about that. Uh, guys, I have a great question, or n- not that it's off subject, it's actually a sports question, 'cause we can go anywhere here.
37:33
This is gonna be a very sensitive subject again, and I don't know the answer, and I should. What are the rules with these sports books that are new?
37:42
Because I had a lot of sports books reach out to me, these head-to-head, peer-to-peer sports books this p- this past week. A couple of them are open to most of the states legally. And, uh, what's the rules with...
37:52
Do they have to put up a bond with, like, $2 million in case they don't pay, they're not solvent? Like, what, what's the rules for even a sports book here? Let's say they had this standalone sports book in Las Vegas.
38:03
Um, okay, there, there is one. Let's, there's one at the Hard Rock, which is a virgin now, uh, can't think, BetFred. Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. So now they're a big corporation, I know, but- Yeah...
38:10
what's the r- let's say they're not a big corporation- Okay... and Nevada legalizes them. What's the rule for if they close the doors like Gary Austin did here in town?
38:21
Gary Austin, you guys can Google this, Gary Austin had a sports book in town, and, uh, he, he, uh, literally closed up shop and escaped with the money, uh, under the cover of darkness.
38:31
So you're, you're asking, uh, s- Well, what, the customers are, are... Who looks after the customers? How do they get their money? I have a ticket that I won 100 bucks, where do I go now? The doors are closed.
38:40
You mean like when I went to the Mirage two weeks ago and didn't cash a ticket there- No, no... and walked away with it? [laughs] I mean, I mean when the place goes out of business and, uh, if something happens.
38:49
Yeah, I know, it's a, it's a sensitive subject. Well, we- What about these, these new companies that are coming to the States and they, they don't have the money?
38:56
They, they took the, they did a full tilt, and they weren't bailed out by, by, by- I was, I was just gonna say, so the- Yeah... offshore, this happened to lots of folks, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
39:05
With both, with both offshore sports books- Correct... and offshore poker sites. Oh, yeah. Um, but specifically, like, we know the names of the offshore folks who are like- Yeah...
39:12
"Well, they're, well, surely World Sports Exchange is gonna pay everybody off," right? World Sports Exchange- Right?... Aces Gold, there's so many companies that went under.
39:19
But what you're asking, is a reg- would a regulated shop- Yeah... being able to do the same thing, I'm guessing not. Isn't, uh, but is there- But I'm just- Is there monies put up? But I, but I'm just guessing.
39:28
We gotta get to, get to someone in gaming. I mean, I, I bet you, I have no idea, but it's probably one of those that probably ends up ugly in court, and you- Listen-...
39:36
you probably still just like offshore- Gary Austin... you probably don't even pull the ticket. Gary Austin left- No...
39:39
went to Costa Rica, uh, was part of a big book called Tradewinds there, came back to the States recently, and, and, well, I guess he was back in the States, in Florida, and they, they took like 10 million off him in Florida.
39:50
They busted him. So y- Wow. But Gary Austin had a sports book here in town, right on the strip, and, uh, I just wondered, like, what, what happens.
39:57
Well, it, there's, there's regulated and unregulated, and then there's public company and non-public company. Yes. That would have something to do with it too, I would imagine- Yes... as well. Uh, another subject. Yes.
40:07
It involves Gil. Uh-oh. So Gil put up a tweet last week, I retweeted it. Hello. And Gil had already 50,000 views on it when it came to me, and it wind up now getting about 80,000 views.
40:16
It was about, uh, the Caesars, what happened there. The NBA draft. NBA draft. Yep.
40:20
I put up a tweet the next day with Caesars charging mi- minus $1.20 on both sides on NFL lookaheads, which unbelievably, 95%, I can't believe it's not 100%, 95% were, "Oh my God, this is terrible.
40:33
How does Caesars do this?" It was always, it was always $1.10. But there was a percentage there that came after me- Really?... and said, "Well, you're lucky they even offer that.
40:42
I mean, that, that, that's, that's the reason why. It's a future, and, you know, you don't, no one offers that." They don't know. There's so many people do not know the space. Yeah.
40:50
They s- I, I, I had to say to them, "Listen, uh, Westgate, s- FanDuel, FanDuel, DraftKings, they all have minus $1.10 on these. What are you talking about? There's, there's, there's literally eight more."
40:59
And, uh, the, it shocked me, the amount of people. Wow. And then guys challenged me, you know, when these kids, they challenge you. "Well, you're g- you're betting ahead of time like that?
41:08
I'd love to challenge you to a bet." Like, they don't even realize that, listen, if I'm betting ahead of time, you can guarantee by kickoff 90% I'm gonna have the best of the line, you know what I mean?
41:18
So, but there are people like, "You can't bet now, there's injuries and stuff. How do you know?" Well, that could happen. It could happen against me, absolutely. Yeah.
41:24
But, but, but however, I'm gonna have an edge on most of those tickets. But it just shocked me the amount of people that actually, you know, think that, that- But, but this- Then again, they're under anonymity...
41:36
but this is part of the whole gig, right?
41:39
The reason that, you know, it, part of the, part of the gig is you're gonna have a, you know, this is, there's many parts of this, but one of them is you're gonna have a whole new generation coming up- Yeah...
41:49
that is going to be, and I mean this in the most literal way- Yeah... it's gonna be ignorant to the ways that it's done properly, mathematically. Yeah.
41:56
And they're going to be, um, they're, they're abetting the crime unknowingly. Yes. Right? That's the words. They're abetting the crime unknowingly, and that's built into the whole racket, if you will. Yeah, yeah.
42:10
And so, and, and by the way, I still get back to that thing, for those who missed it, the NBA draft, where they, they changed the number from 50 to 1 to 25 to 1 on me at Caesars without taking a bet.
42:18
Right at the counter. Right at the counter, right in my face. I, I get it, it happens on apps, but they do it now in the face unabashedly. Yeah. Then they, they tell you all kinds of, uh, they, they scramble.
42:28
Now, it wasn't only just Caesars, but MGM and Caesars, they scramble for all kinds of rationale as to why what happened happened. In MGM's case, it was just a limiting on the app.
42:36
Uh, none of it holds water in the end, and they can get away with it because the way that the regulatory body is, at least now, and this is part of BetBash that I'm, that I'm excited about.
42:48
Spanky was kind enough to ask me to moderate a panel about limiting bettors at BetBash.
42:54
Billy Walters is gonna be on the panel, so I'm super pumped, but there's gonna be actual, we hope, regulators on that panel as well, because, like, there's gotta be some way to, to even this playing field somewhat.
43:10
In other words, like, you cannot be predatory on certain things. Like, there has to be some tacit agreement that at least the bettor can count on X, Y, or Z. Right, right. Yeah. No, it's true, it's true. So we'll see.
43:23
I, I appreciate that Spanky would ask me to do that- Yeah, it's gonna be fun... so I look forward to it at BetBash, yeah. Last thing I'll get to. Yes. Atlantic City, still a mesh. [laughs] I, I said this on my podcast.
43:31
I'll challenge anyone to pull into Atlantic City, come off the ex- expressway, make a left right down on, uh, Atlantic Avenue, go, go down to the end, turn around, come back on Pacific Avenue, look what's going on.
43:43
Look what's going on. Right now at 11:54 AM, oh my God. [laughs] Like, there's guys that charge money at, like, the, the Popeyes to open a door for you just to walk in.
43:52
It's really bad, but I, I, I talked about this 'cause my buddy was saying how bad Atlantic City has became, and, uh, I, I said, "Listen, I talk about this on, on, on your show when I come on."
44:02
And he's like, "No, it's so bad." He said, "Yesterday I was in Atlantic City, and there was a police car going down Pacific Avenue, lights flashing, sirens on. Not one car would move, move out of his way."
44:11
The city has become numb to it. They don't care. It's like Kensington. It's like these people are like zombies. It's just bad. Anyway, all right, guys, I'll see you guys next week. Thanks for having me on.
44:19
Well, there's no artful way to segue to this, but happy Fourth of July, everybody. From all of us at The Numbers Game, we've done all we can do. GoJoe and Golick are next. Enjoy from Visa, the sports betting network.
