And free agency takes forever, too. I mean, Soto's taking these meetings, so maybe that'll happen sooner rather than later.

But if you remember, like, a couple years ago when it was Harper and Machado, that took forever, these free... Last year it was Montgomery and Snell dragged out until almost the start of the season.

They weren't even ready for the season. Like NBA, you know, say what you want about the NBA. July 1st, the big guys are, are gone, you know, within a, a day or two.

Um, you know, football, they have that week in free agency in March where the, the free agents get gobbled up. It creates buzz. It creates juice.

When it lingers like this with the free agency and all this stuff, it just, people kind of lose interest. Juan Soto apparently, uh, attempting to play for all 30 Major League Baseball teams.

[laughs] Do you think he stays a Yankee or goes to the Mets or the Dodgers, someone like that?

I still think he stays with the Yankees, and I never think the Yankees, like, s- sign other teams' players and, and are aggressive like they used to be 'cause they're just not.

I mean, the fact that they let Harper and Seager and Machado and all these guys go to different teams, they don't operate like that anymore. But they still, uh, are, are worth the most money. They make the most money.

They, they can afford all these guys, and they can... A- same thing with Judge two years ago. They can't afford not to re-sign him. That team, uh, well, they came up short with Soto, and, and Soto was great.

Like, the Dodgers aren't desperate to get him. Uh, the Mets could use him, but I, boy, I, I still, you hear whispers that Cohen doesn't want to poach from the Yankees. The, there's a little unspoken agreement.

Well, I think that, look, f- uh, BYU's 4 and 0 in, in one-score games. Kansas is 0 and 5 in one-score games. If you just, man, if a, a bounce of the ball here or there, Saturday night, perfect example.

These teams are much closer than that. I think Kansas might actually be better, and Kansas has a really good rushing attack.

They've kind of found their sea legs the past few weeks after, uh, a really disappointing start. They buried Houston, which, you know, Houston's played pretty well. Houston's an underrated team.

Uh, meanwhile, BYU is just, it, it feels like they're living on borrowed time, and BYU is just shaky against the run.

Um, it, Utah has no passing game whatsoever, and Utah still lined it, you know, lined up and, and ran it five yards a carry. So to me, I think Kansas is gonna be able to run the ball.

Let's, let's get that out of the way, 'cause I want folks to know about this. Um, in your words... Now, Pro- Prophet Exchange, folks might be familiar with that. The first ever betting exchange.

You were in New Jersey, and there was a pivot, and now you are doing it, uh, in the context of a sweepstakes model. Can you explain to folks what that is? Yeah, absolutely.

So for those that are not aware, we're formerly Prophet Exchange, now Prophet X. Uh, Prophet X is a sports exchange where you can play against other individuals, uh, rather than the house.

What that means is that you're getting better odds, and you're essentially winning more or losing less on every single play that you make.

Um, now, I don't think we've got the time nor people wanna listen to the sweepstakes, um, you know, boring legal frameworks here, but I'll give a few caveats just so we can, uh, talk about our pivot.

So we've seen this framework utilized for, uh, gaming, uh, for quite some time now. It's obviously gotten recent popularity.

Um, but essentially we've got a free-to-play side of the platform, uh, that users can play with our, uh, Prophet points.

Uh, and then we've also got a Prophet Cash side, which is, you know, the traditional experience, much more akin, uh, to the Prophet Exchange experience that people had in New Jersey. Um, and- Um, yeah. Go ahead.

player versus house gives obviously a negative dynamic to the consumer sometimes. Um, and being unregulated, a lot of these companies were taking advantage of not having, you know, any regulatory body to adhere to.

Uh, therefore, they would be voiding bets or not paying people out. None of that's in our best interest as an exchange, because we only make money when you make money. So we win when you win.

There's no shady or unnecessary, you know, voids or, or, uh, controversies going on on, on an exchange.

So that has blended in with the sweepstakes space, that negative connotation, but it's more so player versus house than it is sweepstakes. And you guys have experienced tremendous growth, correct? Tremendous growth.

Yeah. It, it's been awesome. Um, it's been, it's been a whirlwind of a two months. Uh, basketball's been off to a fantastic start too. But we're already bigger than we were in New Jersey.

We need to do a better job doing some, um, some things. We're trying to get more props and in-play, uh, obviously, you know, things that bettors love, uh, in the exchange over the next few months.

But, uh, if you haven't checked it out yet, it, it has been an awesome start. The liquidity and the market selection has been better than we probably could have ever thought. All right. Let's get to the good stuff, Jake.

Appreciate that. Sure. Uh, Survivor. Circa Survivor. Started with 14,266 entries. The first, and now it's down to 105. You are responsible for one of these entries. First of all, how many did you start with?

This is the one Just one. You started with one. That's it. Yep. Okay. Uh, those first five weeks were carnage. Um, I'll just g- uh, the first couple weeks, I'll just mention those two weeks.

Pittsburgh-Atlanta, people remember the thoughts of those teams heading into the season. A lot of people went down, um, you know, picking the Falcons. The Bengals were also a big upset, uh, victim against the Patriots.

The next week, I think it was the, uh, the Ravens who were big upset, uh, victim to the Raiders. Uh, and then it went on for weeks three, four, five.

Do you remember now in retrospect, how is it that you avoided all of that? Was it w- were you lucky primarily, or was it, like, super genius of you? [laughs] I think definitely more luck than super genius out here.

Um, I think I had always circled, week one is I, I think you just gotta survive and advance.

I mean, sounds pretty cliche, but week one you just have to get through with something that you're confident in, 'cause obviously there's a ton of unknown variables.

Um, the Raiders-Ravens game had a, a spot that I did not like at all, and I thought that the field would actually be extremely popular on, which ended up being the case.

Um, I think early on I thought that the Antonio Pierce Raiders were a bit better than they were, so I got a little bit lucky in assuming that.

But I think the key to, uh, all of my success and a, a lot of people's success that are still in it was that Jets pick on Thursday night versus the Pats. Yes. Um, I normally try and stay away from those Thursday games.

Um, again, a lot of people thought the Jets were a lot better than they were back then.

Uh, but in hindsight, um, that was kind of the game-changing moment for everyone that's still alive, as that Sunday was absolute carnage.

And there's nothing better than having a pick through and being able to, to watch the carnage unfold in front of you on a Sunday. That was week three, uh, by my memory, I believe.

Week three when the Jets won on, uh, on Thursday night, and then the carnage ensued on Sunday. Uh, who did you have this past week, Jake? Uh, this past week I had the Chargers. So chalky, but we'll take it.

But you avoided- I couldn't- You avoided the Giants on, uh, in, in Munich Uh- That was big. I'm a Giants fan. I was avoiding that game with a 10-foot pole.

So, um, I think that's very much also succe- a success. Um, you know when to back them and when to fade them, the Panthers, and for me it's, I, I've got their number, I guess, so far. Yeah.

So now what do we have, two weeks still to get through before Thanksgiving? Is that correct? I believe it's two weeks before Thanksgiving. Um- Yep, this week and next.

Are you, uh, are you allowing yourself to look ahead, or are you like, "Don't even think about it yet. One week at a time. I don't even wanna know." Obviously you're saving.

I, I think as you said, you know, I'm, I'm obviously aware of the Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks. Um, I think everything I'm working, I'm, I'm thinking about is working backwards from Christmas.

Um, obviously there's a ton of ways to potentially monetize this entry prior to then, so not putting too much thought into it. But I've used Baltimore, I've used Houston, I've used Seattle.
