From week nine to week 18 last season, Cincinnati was actually 13th in EPA play allowed, like over the c- over the course of the second half of the season. Okay. So, you know. So they got better.

We said they were going to name the starting quarterback. We said it was gonna be Joe Flacco. It is in fact Joe Flacco. He will be under center for the Cleveland Browns to start the season.

I, I, I really think the original plan was for open, that Pickett was gonna look good, and you'd ride with Pickett and the two rookies, and, and Flacco would get cut.

But man, it is, it is gonna be tough to get excited about this Cleveland offense this year. Yeah, it's gonna be... It, it, listen, enough talent on the defense, like we said- Mm-hmm...

to, like, keep the game somewhat manageable, but gonna be tough to- Oh, they-... move the ball at times... they might be an ugly dog that you have to look at betting on s- Yeah... on sides this year.

Um, but I think this NFC West is gonna be fun regardless, though. Mm-hmm. I, the Niners' schedule's such cake that I think they're gonna be in it no matter what. I do think this Rams team is still good.

He's dealt with a lot of back stuff throughout his career and kind of always been able to play through it. A- a- and while that may be true, e- each one of these is kind of unique and different on its own, right?

Um, but, uh, you know, pres- you know, he has looked more capable, uh, than I was expecting in camp, and so maybe last year's, uh, issues were more related to just coming off of the injury, and he could return to form from years past as opposed to, uh, you know, the, the sorry tape we saw from him last year.

But, um, ultimately, it's, uh, it is, uh, it is a rough, uh, decision to make to kind of go with the lower s- the much lower ceiling, um, that you're gonna get, 'cause it's a, it's a known quantity, uh, compared to whatever you could've gotten with Richardson.

And, um, and now that experim- experiment seems to be over. And I guess my... I, I kind of assumed it was over, um, when he got hurt on the, uh, during the Ravens game. Mm-hmm.

Um, and while ultimately Bo Nix has a much lower ceiling than all of the other quarterbacks in the AFC, and a very low likelihood, in my opinion, this year to take them deep into a playoff run, um, he is absolutely gonna take them to the playoffs in my opinion in a, in a crowded AFC.

Uh, and so, uh, I think the bet that I'm the most excited about is, uh, Broncos', uh, stage of elimination wildcard loss.

Now, the other thing I think that we can look at here from a Cincinnati side of things, and I know this is... It, it's, it's not a defense that is, is good by any stretch of the imagination.

But you can say they brought in Al Golden to take over as defensive coordinator, so they will have a new philosophy at least, and that's one of the things that you will get. They signed- Do we think he, that matters?

They, they signed Todarrell Slaton on the defensive, at defensive tackle. They brought in Oren Burks at linebacker. He was actually the fourth graded linebacker in, according to Pro Football Focus last year.

They drafted Shamar Stewart. They drafted linebacker Demetrius Knight. One of the other things that kind of goes under the radar, they get cornerback Dax Hill back.

He tore his ACL in the fifth game last year, so he's back on the defensive side of the ball for them as well. They get the deals done with Chase and Higgins.
